Good price on computer?

A lad from work is desperate for cash due to big debts so he is selling his PC. I was thinking about buying it and possibly getting rid of mine in the paper or something.

I would appreciate some feedback about the spec and price to see if its worth buying.

Athlon xp 2100, gf2mx, 256 ddr 333 memory, gigabyte g7va (good motherboard) 40gb 7200rpm hard drive, good cooling, creative live 5.1 sound card, creative fps1600 speakers and sub, 100mb zip drive and disk, 15 inch samsung monitor, possibly a dvd drive

Wants £400 ono but could possibly knock him down he is desperate.

What do you guys think to that? Is it worth it?

I would say so yes, but if you can knock him down further then go for it ;) But you wouldnt be getting done for £400 tho if he wont budge.

£400 sounds OK to me m8.

I'd flog the GF2 graphics card on Ebay and get a GF4 instead though.
