My S13 Project....

Well i thought its the right time to chuck it up so here goes...


I brought it back in august looking like this:

With the following done to it:


Norris designs Stage 1 chiped ECU
New GT28r s15 ball bearing turbo
Big BOSCH racing fuel pump
New Wiseco 84mm forged pistons (APEX)
TIGER 6" straight cut cat back exhaust
SS decat pipes
New valves
New LUK s13 clutch kit (APEX)
Front mount intercooler
All poly bushed tension rods
White line steering bushes
Drilled and grooved fast road disks on the front
New big end bearings
New main bearings
New 2mm TRUST metal head gasket
New engine gaskets all round
All new metal piping
Polished engine covers
Full cat 1 alarm system with full closure remote central locking and anti highjack
3 pod pillar gauge holder with blitz gauges TURBO / TEMP / OIL PRESSURE


I brought one already modded slightly as itll save me some money lol... As the plan is to take it to stage 3 and new exterior...


First things first i chucked the air box away and stuck a filter on there for increased air flow :thumbs:

Then i fitted a dvd player and screen, (nothin major but for the missus :wack: )

Then i got slightly worried as on the way to a holiday the car went bang and started missfiring like a bitch :wack:

So come to the conclusion it was only the fuel pump so fitted a nice uprated walbro one and that did the trick.. sorted

Then i managed to get hold of some lowering springs so just as an inbetween before i get some coilovers i just chucked em on, not so much of a 4x4 now :thumbs:

Well so far since i had the car ive been on the dole so not had much cash to splash ( cant wait for a job :wack: )

So as a cheap mod i got rid of the black stripe around the car... so i started one side and went round clockwise to find the very last bit painted on :cry: ah well lol...

Anyway the same day i fitted some rear quarter tints as i had some film lying around...

Then i got hold of some wing mirrors very cheap so i thought id give em a go and they have grown on me slightly...

Next i got rid of those round fog lights in the square holes :wack:

And got the proper 180sx type x lenses :thumbs: there not wired up yet but have been fitted tho... and i also got rid of the rectangle numberplate in favour of a square one which is also yet to be fitted and is in the windscreen :wack:

Just a quick update... my front bumper developed a crack in it but at the same time a front bumper came up a great price so couldnt say no and got it...

In the process of fitting it but i put it up to the car to give it a taster :nod:

Well its prob a bit to much work as i split it in two now as theres not much room in the garage and i dont think ill be needing it, theres alot of bonding back together and smoothing out the edges again...


but if your good at fibreglassing it should be a doddle :thumbs:

**little update***

Well yet to get a pic of the inside of my car at night so thought id throw it up....

Note that ive brought a new steering wheel which is a Nardi one , ive got plasma dials to go in on monday :D, so will get more pics up then, also got a turbo timer going on and some over stuff over the next few weeks to ;)

And as for the front bumper, i ditched the one i brought as it didnt suit the rest of my body kit, so decided to update my old one a bit so made a few little changes to it...

I was looking at the deep dish nardi wheel but ended up getting
a omp corsica, only problem now is i cant reach the indicator

It's a long depressing story but the short version is i bought a
smashed r33 for its rb25 and other usable parts.
I stripped everything from the r33 and started the swop only to find
a rather large crack in the block so i took the engine apart,
found another block and am in the process of rebuilding now.
Its sat in the garage at the mo half done, got the gearbox,prop,subframe and steering rack in and iv'e tidyed up all the wiring just need to get some parts for the motor (gaskets and such) then i can hopfully finish the bloody thing.

***Update***

Ive finally got round to fitting the plasma dials i had lying around for 2 months lol...

And while at it i fitted the the APEXi turbo timer i brought to :U: (left hand side under the dash)

Also changed the colour of the lights on the needles so instead of white there now red :thumbs:

Well front bumper is being fitted back on with a few changes and sprayed this week,

And sometime this month or next im going stage 3 :thumbs: got the 444c injectors, h-dev stg 3 chip and z32 here waitin to go on :D


Also tryin to arrange affordin a full GTR brake setup but need to sell my spare bodykit to fund that tho ;)


Still alot to do really like new wheels, coilovers etc so far from finished :wack:

Another little update,


I finally got my front bumper sorted and re shaped to someot a little bit diff to before and sprayed...

But as u can see the bumper is a diff colour so goin back in free of charge to do it again soon.... :rolleyes:


Also last saturday i blew caution to the wing and decided to put all my stage 3 stuff on and now i am fully stage 3 :D


Injectors were a hassle to put on as all the bolts and screws i needed to get to were in the worst possible positions but i finally got round to swapping them, ecu obvo straight forward and had a little trouble wiring the afm but with a little help with someone off here i got it all sorted :thumbs:


Just need my brakes on now and all should be good....


Also got a stainless mani to go on when it arrives to, need that rr day now :nod:

Well been a bit slow recently as i lost my job :(



But car went back into the body shop and got another respray on the front for free :D Also got a few more parts to stick on to.


Got myself a stainless steel manifold to go on at some point and also invested in a 4-point harness for as and when i get my bucket seat, came up cheap and in red so had to have it :smash:
