I'll join you guys on the trip up, you know its a good thing i read this as I hadnt thought about taking a tent! Yes, be afraid, this brain is often behind the wheel of a rear wheel drive turbo! :p

Mentioned this to my Dad the other day (doesn't especially like cars and an ex Royal Marine)

Suggestions as follows:

Sleeping mat
Gollock (some type of knife thing)
plastic bags
toilet tissue (hadn't thought of that one!)
Malaria tablets
Durex (apparently they're REALLY useful at many different things apart from the obvious)
Torch(es)
Matches/lighter
Bottled water
Nuerofen

And a host of other handy tips.

I'm not quite sure what he thinks it going to be like (perhaps he thought I was signing up for the war effort by mistake)

But there are some good suggestions in there:D

The knife sounds a bit of a scary idea, although could come in handy if any thieving toerags get near our cars! Malaria tablets??? haha, last time I checked Billing isnt that tropical! :D

I think he was taking things a bit seriously:D

But in fairness there were a couple of decent suggestions:rolleyes:
