Fortunately not. I don't think anybody had thought of such a daft idea when my car was built in 1998. Someone'll be stupid enough to invent brakes that release themselves gently as the car is about to stop so that the driver doesn't have to bother himself with such a difficult task next. WHY must people close my door using the WINDOW!:eek:

I mean apart from thoughtlessly putting flithy fingerprints all over an otherwise usually very clean car, how strong do these peolpe think the electric winding mechanism is??? You wouldn't slam a glass house door, so why do it to my car door? And chicks are definitely the worst culprits too.

Yep I've had a go at my misses for slamming the door shut, especially when I'm in it and letting her out so I can park in the garage...

... even with a trickle of blood running from my ear she still thinks she shuts it gently:rolleyes:

She only is 7 1/2 stone:eek: it's like she's mastered the one inch punch of door closing or something:D

Another obsevation, have you noticed that all blokes shake the nozel on a fuel pump when they've filled up while I havent seen a woman do this yet. I wonder where we get this trait from ;)

I think the only thing worse than the lass slamming the car door is her slamming the boot shut on my S13 - it's heavy enough anyway and with the doors shut I swear she's gonna blow the sunroof out one of these days
