Well i will have to write this in chuncks as i have limited access to the internet so could not write it as i did it.

Anyways bought this S14a back in August:-

It is a 99 on a T plate done 39k genuine miles with lots and lots of service history, sapphire blue with cream leather really is in good condition. it was 100% standard untill i put the exhaust on! the only downer was it was an auto:ghey: (sorry to those auto drivers just not for me)

I bought it with the full intention of doing a manual conversion and i priced it up and quickly realised that to get some low milage parts and to have everything work properly it was goin to be quite expensive and quite a lot of work. so after reading about a few people doin the rb conversion i began pricing that up. it worked out to not be a great deal more than the manual conversion and after having a skyline i did miss the noise and low end grunt. So i just went for it. after owning the 200 for a month i bought the black gtst you can see pictured, i only paid 1300 for the whole car which i thought was quite good.

I then with the help of Adrian what a legend, i began getting the bits i needed, it was about this time i realised that it was guna cost a little bit more than i 1st thought but no worries as i had access to the wedding account:rolleyes: .

i began the actual conversion a week later on a thursday night first job was to get the rb running which it didi straight away, i didi bypass the turbo to prevent the lump sucking up and broken bits of the front mount. once happy with this i removed the 200's lump a few hours later and engine bay was bare g/box out and all signs of auto had been removed.

then on the friday the 200's engine was picked up by rob in his alfa which it slotted into nicely, friday night involved the removal of the rb. within a few hours i had ecu, wiring, g/box and lump out.

i didi not touch it over the weekend as i went home where a big pile of lovely boxed parts was waiting for me, i had r33 intercooler and pipe kit, s14a walbro fuel pump, r32 gtr radiator, hks mushroom filter, custome rb mounts from tophat in the states, greddy timing belt kit and a new water pump.

when i got back on monday i fitted the new belt kit and water pump and gave the engine a look over all seemed good so i split the gearbox and engine.
