Wee johnny is in class one day when the teacher announces that she'll be asking a question every Friday and whoever gets the question right first will have the following monday off...
So the kids start swotting up on their general knowledge in preparation for Fridays question. Friday comes and the teacher asks...
"how long would it take you to circum-navigate the globe in an 8ft canoe"
The children look at each other in bewilderment... "ok, see you all on Monday" says the teacher...
The following week another obscure question..."how many javelins are thrown each year in competition"... this goes on for weeks with no-one getting the right answer...
Wee johnny decides to get his own back. He gets two table tennis balls and paints them black. When friday comes he takes them from his pocket just as the teacher stands up to ask her question... he rolls them down the classroom and when the teacher see thems she asks...
"right... whos the comedian with the black balls"
Wee johnny stands up and says...
"Eddie Murphy, Miss... see you on Tuesday..."
