Rolling Road Day @ MGT Racing [Archive]

Having spoken to MGT Racing (http://www.mgt-racing.com) they're happy for us to have a club Rolling Road day on one of the two Saturdays early in December :thumbs:. Hopefully this is going to give the people that have one or two issues with their car plenty of time to prepare as this seemed to be the preferred date from the previous thread :nod:.

The price is expected to be around £30 for members and £35 for non-members, though I will confirm the exact price later this week. I expect a deposit will be needed early in November, so please be aware of this before you put your name down. Power and torque figures will be taken from the hubs (so no risk of wheelspin on any rollers) and your fuelling etc will be closely monitored to ensure that your car is as safe as possible.

There should be room for up to 15 cars on the day so get your names down now with your preferred date :whip:.

Okay, I've spoke to Garth again today and he said that all being well we should probably be able to run this on the Sunday rather than the Saturday so it's looking very much like Sunday 2nd December at the moment :nod:.

The one i saw yesterday that i was really hopefull about was, err, less than desirable.
Wuite who thought it was a good idea to replace stock twins with a cheap chinese turbo that produces full boost at just over 4k and a mighty 297 bhp i don't know :rolleyes:
eBay tuning has a lot to answer for :indiff:

yes jav,im picking up the t28 from tt's this thursday,then wait till next week then ill buy a chip get it installed then get a walbro the following week.i've got a saab intercooler just need to fit it,ill do that when i put the turbo in.
so the list is:-

braided feed hoses
walbro fuel pump
saab intercooler
all ready have full exhaust system fitted and a air filter.
is there anything i missed,i dont think there is?

thats stage 3 i think with a z32 airflow meter aswell,the injectors are of a skyline rated 444.what you been up to?

Okay guys, sorry for the delays on this one...

MGT's new dyno cell is almost finished so should be fine for the first weekend in December which was the preferred date of those that voted.

As I said a little further up the thread this will probably be on Sunday 2nd rather than Saturday 1st and we'll need a minimum of 10 cars to run :nod:. Will send PMs to those that have shown an interest early next week and try and start collecting deposits from those that are still interested.

Unfortunately the price is going to be slightly higher than I initially suggested @ £45 for non-members and £40 for members :thumbs:.

anyway matts planning a trip to the ring in the middle of next year so im hoping to get the car ready by then.........

breaks, suspension, rollcage and basic engine mods and to finish off a manual conversion........:nod:

Because I've been rather lazy (and also busy at work) this year I haven't confirmed a date yet - despite having spoken to MGT.

I need to ring them tomorrow to short a couple of other issues so should post a date before the weekend :thumbs:.
