You've bought a talking car!!

For those that don't know, they have a voice warning system - that I was mightily impressed with when I had a ride in one! Sad but true!!

Is it quick being a 3.0? How many miles it done? What you pay?

Congrats. I had a Safrane and it was a really good car. Wish I'd bought it off the lease company.

Reminds me of a little story though. I was parked up in a quiete French village some years ago waiting for my then missus to come back after doing yet more shopping, when this brand new Safrane comes up the road at some speed and pulls up just in front of my car. The bloke gets out, red faced, kicks the front wing causing a massive dent, and pisses off without switching off engine or closing door. As he goes off he's swearing for all he's worth. In the distance I can hear this metallic sounding voice, so I go up to the Safrane and hear this (translated from the French)

*Faulty headlight, please change
*Engine oil low, please consult a Renault dealer
*Brake failure, please consult a Renault dealer
*Electronic malfunction please stop immediately and consult a Renault dealer
*Sunroof fuse blow, please consult a Renault dealer

and on and on it went going through every possibe message in it's memory, then it started from the beginning again. Must have driven the bloke mad, but it had me on the floor pissing myself :D

Dont really know on perf. but cruises nice (no tax or ins yet). 104000 miles full (very) service history, 2 owners 1st for 1 year then a doctor. 1993 very clean, no rust, all gizmos work (but there is a suspension warning light on, its mentioned in the history for the last 50000 miles and gets looked at each service where no fault is found and the light turned off, but it comes on again after 100 miles) and best of all other than the 6 way inflate able seats it was................£520:D :D :D

That's the cost of 2 SE-Nissan boost upgrades.........................

Which is the better value?

Nice going!
