think i read in the "regular meets thread" thats is normally 2nd sunday of the month...
Maybe we can plan one for the futre....when most people can make it?
Anyone been past the pub recently? The car park was a building site last month, we may need a new place to go!
The 'Old Spring' has a car park!?
If anyone fancies a drive out the ipswich meet will be at santa pod on the 4th november, usally a good turnout.

If we do a pre-christmas bash, then it would have to be an evening or the Sunday just before XMAS for me. I'm up at Anfield this Sunday :D
I can't honestly think of anywhere other than where the last 2 I attended were held.
The pub in fen ditton has gone all poncey :(. The food portions are small, but sadly the price doesn't reflect that :o (2 mates of mine go there with the cambs SIDC crew)
I would rather chew my leg off than go back to the Robin Hood :indiff:
Burleigh arms (town end of newmarket road) is good and at the weekends u can use the offices car park as well as theres.
Forgot to mention its only £6.95 for a super size roast! (12-2 sun)
The pub at Barhill has a large carpark, cheap food and super unleaded across the road.
Beefeater carpark is now a building site.
Or the Red Lion at whittlesford has a decent sized car park and if thats full theres a huge train station carpark thats empty on a sunday.
Sunday before xmas would be good for me too.

There are a few good pubs in (and near) the milton area, dont know what the food is like though?

head down the m11, turn off for duxford air base/feild ,then head for the A11, after about 1 to 2 miles you come to a bridge over the railway track, go up on to the bridge and the car park is on your left, and so is the turning! its the last turning befor the mc donalds rounderbout
on a nother note: roland is it your car that i have seen round the milton area? proberly a month ago.

i was there on my own sitting in a car park and from 12:00 till 1 i didnt see any 200's i even had a look on the way home to see if there was any everdance of a meet but nothing
my first meet, and I had it all to my self!

I can only apologise on behalf of all us "failed to attend"-ers :(
Sadly, the Cambridge meet keeps falling down and is a shadow of it's once great self (er, as if I ever knew how great it was anyway :wack: - but come on, we did have over 20 people once). If I had known in advance that the footie match was going to be so shite, I would not have hesitated to get my arse over to the meet.
Hopefully, as the weather improves, so too will the turnout :thumbs: (although, saying that, the weather wasn't really that bad yesterday, considering it was late December :o ).
Whether it is the timing, or the format, or whatever that is going wrong, 2008 needs to improve and that can only happen if we all attend :thumbs: . Roll on the January meet :)

Count me in guys, N200 *** should be on the road again soon so i'll try and get to some meets-work allowing. As for the venue, im not fussed. Everywhere ive been has been nice imo. The Wrestlers gets my vote though, great food but i know not everyone like the image associated with tescos carpark meet:wack:

what have you got at the moment? I've got the cat back section of the old twin-exit style Mongoose sat in my garage if you want it :nod: . It needs a new rear hangar strap welding on though, but it's yours if you want it :thumbs:
ive got a custom made exhaust, downpipe all the way back, cant see what make it is as it hasn't got anything writen on it, but it looks like new! shame i don't like the sound of it :rolleyes:
but i want a exhaust that when cruising at 70-80 the exhaust is slight and doesnt vibrate through the car
what exhaust tip does your mongoose have on it? how many pennys you wanting for it? is it a cat back or full system?
It's the old style twin-exit backbox - as per the picture below.
It's yours for free if you collect it :thumbs: . I haven't got time to mess about posting a large item like this, so it's been sat in the garage for just shy of 2 years waiting for me to do something with it :wack: . As I said, it needs a new rear hangar welded on to the back box, but that's it :nod:

Oh and as mentioned, it's cat back but with the original decat pipe as well - the only part not there is the downpipe :nod: . The only thing to know is that it's a 2.5" bore system and one of the rear tips has got a bit of damage to the underside of it. It's also quite cool when it flames as you get a couple of small jets :cool: :D . Excuse the awful quality of the following picture, but it's a still taken from a video taken with a very cheap digitial camera - this was on a RR day at Engine Advantages where the car made 309.1bhp and 314.8ft/lb torque with that exhaust :thumbs: (PS. the flames are BOV created, not anything :ghey: like a flamer kit :wack: )

Just a quick head's up. It might be worth making it the Robin Hood at Cherry Hinton if any of you are planning on eating :nod: . The Plough, at Fen Ditton, has gone all poncey and charges £10 for a burger that comes with about 5 chips :eek: . So, if we're eating can I suggest the Robin Hood instead, otherwise The Plough is fine.
Location-wise, I'm not fussed as both are easy for me to get to :thumbs:

Does he actually exist :confused: . I've heard tales of him, handed down generation after generation, but when you try and find somebody who's met him, all I get is "my mate knows somebody who was once married to a cousin of somebody who owned a dog that was impregnated by another dog that may or may not have belonged to the Big G-to-the-T" . well on sat i got my own s13 and my make got a s14 2 weeks ago so...
when is ur next meet and where do u lot meet up ??
organise a meet now so then loads of people have time to see it and plan their lives around the meet :wack:
