DB Power Intercooler Group Buy now £150 *ENDED*

Right along with the Radiator group buy I thought I’d run an Intercooler Group buy as well.

The Intercoolers are made from a high quality Aluminium and are excellent value for money. They come with all the pipe work necessary and include stronger T-clamps for maximum clamping power, they also come complete with all the brackets required.

The Intercooler core is a nice 600X300X76 in size. These kits are the type which come through the battery tray but are a really nice fit.

They come with a shiny hot pipe and cold pipe as well so no need for extra’s.

They are available for the S13, S14, S14a and S15 :)

The groupbuy will close at the end of October and they will be ordered with the radaitors :) As such may take a couple of months for arrival.

i have an apex kit fitted already but the new hotside pipework starts at where it goes through the body behind the headlamp.so if yours goes from the turbo then thats cool and i guess you would sell quite a few :thumbs:

aww bugger! can't say not at that price lol... would i be right in thinking deposit now, then remainder when shipped out? i.e a few months??

saying this as just this mo paid deposit for the Apex HID GB as didnt think this GB would get down to this kinda price and couldnt afford the reminder to be taken until end of Nov at earliest :(

Hmmm, speaking to a bloke the other day about using aluminium piping and he rekons it would be better than stainless steel for keeping temperatures in or something :confused:

Dan, What're the T-clamps like on this? on the FMIC I fitted to a mate Supra they were a bit dodgey and prone to snapping at the weld of the T...

The mounting kit comes with four brackets and doesn't require too much bodgery right?

Can I arrange a firm date for delivery when the FMIC's arrive with you? Or have it posted to an address other than my home? Or maybe even come down and collect it?

Delivery will be Jan sometime, but it's not like you need an intercooler during Winter :wack:

The pipe kits, will come with the hoses and t-clamps etc :)

I'm not sure of the quality of the t-clamps yet as I haven't seen one but I wouldn't have thought they would snap unless you do them up to tight :)

Mounting kit should be straight forward :)

And I'm flexible with delivery i.e. day and where etc :)

As they may be the wrong bore :( I am trying to order some in now :)

fwiw, after reading that Daryl managed to get his on, i gave mine another try.. after applying loadsssss of heat (heat gun/hair dryer would work well) and a bit of washing up liquid I JUSt managed to get it on too!

just hope I've got that piece of pipe the right way round or I'll have to do it all over again :wack:

Well went to fit it today and cant suss the pipework out for the life of me :confused:

Anyone able to enlighten me as ive tried every pipe everyway !

The kit is for a RB25 in a S13.

not to sure about s13 but i think you will find the 2 pipes that are wraped up are hot side, and you should have another small elbow bit of pipe??, well that and the other one in the pic are cold side.


i think, (dont quote me on this ) but the bottom of the pipe on the right hand side go's to the turbo, then the other which ever way fits

then the top end of the middle pipe gos to the throttle body.

The kit you have is for a R33 GTS-T as mentioned on the 1st page. Thats all the pipes for that kit :)
