Yes yes, it is an FJ20ET (it has DOHC but it's not classed as a 'DET' ...?)!

I found one for sale. Actually there's a couple. But it's a bit of a cost exercise. And it would be a direct rival to a cossie lump innit! Strong FJ vs Strong err.. Cossie. none of this modern truck SR20 effort etc.

most of the site's I can find are japanese, lots of mentions but nothing to say where it came from. Seems it's a popular convertion in oz and japan though

What gearbox does it take? FS5W71C or FS5R30A...

Who sells engine components for it (gasket set, piston rings, oil filter etc)?

What parts from the FJ20E are common (these were fitted to some S12 Silvias so Nissan UK could get parts)?

What ECU will you use (I'd recommend a standalone)?

There are 2 versions of the FJ20, one from the Skyline and another one. Apparently the Skyline one is much better as it has better designed inlet and exhaust manifolds... But is also older

Looks a bit like a cossie lump as well.

That should confuse the dealerships. :)
