Hi jez. Been really happy since you fitted the stage 1 chip on my car and andys, so keen to use you again.
Im looking to get more power, but not strip the engine down and am happy to run with standard internals and hg.
What is the best way to go about getting more power now, and what would the cost's be for your mapping to suit. Is 340bhp achievable on standard turbo? currently ran at 305bhp at around 15psi. Just finsihed upgradeing brakes to cope with more power. Can you custom map on standard ecu with a blank chip? thanks, ian

305bhp at 15psi is quite optimistic - which dyno was that on? Usually the standard turbo maxes out around 290bhp.

If you want more power I'd recommend upgrading the turbo, this will give you around 340-350bhp with supporting mods.

You could go to stage 2 which will give you 290bhp at 17psi boost - this will be a lot cheaper than upgrading the turbo.

at quite a well proven dyno. Would i need to uprate the actuator to run a steady 17psi? is it worth while uprating the actuator on standard turbo? would i just need injectors and your stage 2 chip to run 17psi? mods in sig btw..

thanks

Just had a look at their web page. Maha dynos are pretty good, but they read higher than the dyno dynamics rollers we use.

I'd recommend an uprated actuator - this will help maintain 17psi to the red line :)

To go to stage 2 you need:
Free flow air filter
Free flow exhaust
Uprated fuel pump
Standard fuel pressure regulator
FMIC
Nismo 555cc injectors (other brands will not work correctly)
Boost controller and gauge
17psi with a standard turbo

would i see a good gain do you think then? what uprated actuator do you reccommend on the turbo? how much can u supply the chip and injectors for? i dont need a z32 maf do i?

Going from 15psi to 17psi doesn't sound much but theres a big difference :)
ECU upgrade is £224.99
Injectors are £319.99
O-rings are £9.99
HKS actuator is £89.99
Excludes fitting, includes VAT :)

ECU upgrade in stock - all other parts will be in stock in a few days :)

same spec as yours but with standard actuator.

my blitz dsbc holds boost no problem all the way to redline.

seeing as i already have the ecu " chipped" by your stage one map, is it a case of unplug the old one and plug the new one in jez? and if i find injectors and fit them would it be ok to run it to you with them in on a stage 1 map? coming from notts

Yes and yes, if you stay off boost :)

so to save me a trip down could you post the chip up? im a mechanic by trade so feel more than confident taking the ecu to bits and plugging th enew chip in, as long as no ecu soldering is involved

Yeah, that'd be fine :)
To go from stage 1 to stage 2 it's £99.99 + £50 - you get the £50 deposit when I get the stage 1 chips back.
Give us a call/pm/email to sort out payment :)
