finally got the car on the road and its scared me already . my first rear drive car and i think its trying to kill me :thumbs: .

Realized that fresh tyres on a sx need to be scrubed but what fun learning . Any one got any tips for a new be or is it just keep tyring to survive

Can t wait till ive fixed all the problems on her then she will be cool:sxoc: loving it

yeah just take it easy for a little while and make sure you drive gingerly untill you get the feel of it :thumbs: what tyres have you put on it dude?

we had 2 roadstones in work so i thow them on. Dont think it was a good move

we had 2 roadstones in work so i thow them on. Dont think it was a good move

yeah they are not very grippy untill they only have about 5mm tread left lol by which time they are not long off the limit :eek:

I fell as i ve arrived . What people worn me about s13's have come true. In pro speed today having a new exhaust . Just had a text off woody to say its needs a new front cross member ,loads of welding and to top it of, 2 studs hav snapped off in the turbo .

What next

thats gutting mate, when you say 2 studs have snapped do you mean studs just come off the elbow or have they actually gone inside the turbine... if so then that sucks big time :(

I had studs snap,too much engine movement,new mounts cured it oh and those serated washers and double nut the fecker when you put the turbo back on:nod:

gotta give it to the guys down pro speed . had a call 7 pm "come get yor car then ". Well supriced . they done a great job . Repaired all the studs/bolts and done a mint sounding pipe .

Woody exajerated a bit on the welding . The hole front cross member needs replacing . pulled big bits of it off in my hand . N/s chassie rail needs a nice patch . n/r/s sill needs repatching and the reast is just serface that i can kill now.

only thing i would say is that boost has goin up since the pipe (ant touched anything ) since the pipe and it dont feel as fast now

i havent touched the bleed valve . its gone up sinse the exhaust yesturday and now the boost comes on a totally different way . Plus the car ia much slower.

And mason i could never have as much rust as u lol

Plus i only just got 80 miles round town to half a tank . these time love a drop

fixed again. the hot pipe elbo had ripped the top treads out giving a boost leak . well one of the long bolts was missing and the other long was lose plus the small one under neth was to long . nice big washers and running long bolts with nuts on the back she fixed .I got my power back .

Did find out my landa sensor wires are cut . that could be y she drinking
