Im on the ****ty old computer right now, cus ive done somthing to the new one and ive no idea what....
Basically, my AEI USB to Ethernet Adaptor which i use for my internet, has disapeared. When i open up the Network Connections panel, there is only the Ethernet LAN and some other thing called somthing like "1364"? I use the other Ethernet Card for my Xbox, hence using the Ethernet to USB for my broadband.
Now today, ive had tons of problems with Xbox so ive been messing alot. But basically, it worked, even after all of my messing and im pretty sure i didnt delete the drivers for the AEI USB jobbie. But the Drivers arent listed in my Device Manager anymore!
It happened after i downloaded a Windows update and restarted the PC. Got alot of "Send Error Report" things popping up and then the Internet wouldnt work...
Im pretty sure the windows thing cant of wrecked my driver? So it looks like i need to re-install the Drivers, but i dont have them on Disk and XP doesnt automatically install it when i boot up... wahhh!!!!
As a desperate measure to get the net working again, i even tried it in the Ethernet socket, but it doesnt work in that either..
Am i beyond help?
Thanks!
Paz
