Having spent the afternoom replacing two small coolant pipes under the inlet manifold and all of the hose clips, I can now state that my water leak is no more. Took the car for a run to warm everything up, parked up outside the house, let everything cool down and pressure tested the system to 1 Bar. No leakage or loss of pressure over a 10 minute period.
So it's fixed after 20 months of losing water - about 300 ml - every trip.
If anyone local needs to chect their system, I now have the equipment to do it.:D
Nice one Barry!
Also glad because its taken six threads to fix a rad hose,we'd need a bigger server if your engine lets go :p
