That's not good, Chris. At least you have witnesses. Can you not get the bonnet done at the same time?:wack:

Pull the "they will never get the paint match right" card like i did on mine ;)
Had the whole car painted then  mine is black though lolMine has a huge metalflake content tho and is a non standard colour  A full respray would make the car a write off :(

Gutted mate :(
As you are in the car game im sure you know someone good enough to sort it out :)
Just make sure, As he is going through the hassle of mixing the paint up he makes a bit extra for you to use on other parts ;)
Bint has stopped answering her phone now thats she realised she can't afford the repair for cash and will lose her no claims if i claim off her
Not that I'm overly bothered  I'll get new estimates based on a new quarter panel and a complete respray  Then I will report her for failing to stop and a refusal to provide insurance details :indiff:

DO IT
Shame though :(
DO IT
Shame though :(Tis a a real shame  I hate the compensation culture :annoyed: but if she fancies fecking me about or challenging her insurance company to find me an 82k mile 1994 s14 in gunmetal grey then fair play to her  I'll put the car in storage @ £20 a day and insist on a full alighnment check
Gutting :( What was the most she was offereing then?
Gutting :( What was the most she was offereing then? :thumbs:She did offer to get a quote from a friend but that offer has expired due to her attitude  She will end up paying  I have 2 evo 7 owners as witnesses and both went mental as she hit my car

Ahh i had one like that years ago,i was only 18 and my old girl pretended she was a copper on the phone:whip: :wack:
Needless to say a cheque for £150 ended up on my doormat, luckily though or my old girl could have been avoiding picking up soap for a while

Nah feck it you lot know me better than to believe that :wack: The car is now pretty much booked into Here (http://www.motorvation.net/) for the repairs  (my legal assistance firms highest rated bodyshop in South Wales :D ) Anyone in the area rate their work ?
While the car is in for repair I have use of a new Golf or Passat TDI ( due the insurance group of the 200 I'm entitled to way above the average courtesy car ;) )

£400 to repair that, bloody hell. should be no more than about £200 Max

its not the point, the bodyshop should mix the paint to the car and thats only 1 panel to repair. £400 seems a big quote, i know its not a problem as its the daft women paying the bill but man thats expensive.

Thats about right £400, they might have to blow into the bumper aswell by the time they have blown in base colour, and laq the whole panel and de nibbed, not to mention overheads heating spray booth, lighting, rent ............ if you went to a back street garage you would expect to pay £200 but if you take it to pros expect these prices:thumbs:

How many attempts will it take them to get the colour match right ?

I've paid £700 for a complete respray in a solid red colour without laquer which is obviously far easier but it was a mates rates job  In 1988 ;)

Mates rates 2pk full respray change of colour is £1500 up here now:nod: use to fully respray commercial vehicles for a living, painted lots of cars aswell, car paint repairs can be tricky due to there being so many diff paint schemes out there, i think that £400 is very reasonable if you want the job spot on:thumbs:

Crazy biatch!
Stand next to the car with a sledge! "Call it £500 cash now love"
If you need some backup chris i got the day off tomorow
Butuz
thats bad real bad and they blame the younger drivers for no insurance it just proves that you get hit by a car you dont know what to expect, id go with the sledge hammer option till she pays up.
I know the feeling tho when i had my skyline had a non insured driver hit it and im just getting paid out after a long battle to get the money off them 11 months later but at least i got there in the end lol, just keep the presure on her to pay up or send the bill to her house.
( whats the coppers doing about or aint they involved ? )
good luck with it tho hope you get the money off her to cover the repair.

Chris is known locally as the "enforcer" :) When he moved in to his present house some kids did some damage to his car without realising whos it was. They ended up cutting off their own little pinky to show how sorry they were and gave him their lunch money for a week to pay him back
