OK so I have now got the hose off without having to move the altenator. The 35mm ID hose from the T-piece to the block has two, yes two, tiny splits in it so will need to get a replacement and will also replace the 20mm ID hose from the T-piece to the inlet manifold. I shall get new clips for all of these as well. The only problem is that the drain plug for the radiator has sheared so need to drill that out and get a replacement.:annoyed:

Just been to Rickets radiators to get one. No luck and they reckon it is the same as an old Cortina, not Nissan. Anyway the thread is M10 x 1.5 so I reckon a 10mm bolt will do. Thanks anyway. :thumbs:

Now to get some decent hose clips. Merlin Motorsport here I come. (They do some very nice stainless ones. Only 10mm width.
