Hi people, I'm trying to sort a rolling road day out at Northampton Motorsport on one of the following dates:

Saturday 22nd September
Saturday 29th September
Saturday 6th October

Would need a minimum of 10 cars for this to go ahead.

The price per car would be £30 for members and £35 for non-members. This is for a power run and graph print off.

If you would like to be included on this please just add your name and the date youd prefer and ill get the balls in motion.

Thanx Jim

Me 6th
Adrian 6th
Will 6th
800Bhp 22nd

This is awsome!!!
I will be there but not sure if the car is healthy enough to RR yet (unless your thinking about having a rave and need a smoke machine!!!) but will definatly be down to watch.

My car is kapput, smashed it up this week so im busy sorting a new one out, i cant believe it so dissapointed with myself. Ah well life goes on, just another dead s13 to add to the list. Im not gonna be able to run on this now but would still like it to go ahead.

Can I have a definate yes from the people that want to do the 6th, this looks like the most popular date, sorry 800BHP but i have to go with the majority

Sorry to hear that mate, I can definately do the 6th if that is the preferred date. Otherwise we could look at a few dates later in the month and postpone it for a few weeks?

I'll give them a call tomorrow and get some more dates. Early November would be fine for me but it's really down to the majority - I'll get a poll posted once I have some options for us .

if you can put it off a little while longer my car will definitely be ready. early nov sounds perfect as i need an MOT and tax in the next week then i need to map it, god knows when or where :wack:

Okay, I spoke to Northampton Motorsport today - next earliest Saturday is 8th December so it's either that date or early in the new year. Power figures are taken from the wheels, not from the hubs, and you would recieve a printout of wheel and flywheel torque and bhp.

Bad news is, they would NOT be monitoring AFRs, so you it's a little "risky" if you're not sure that your car is running/fuelling correctly :(.

Good news is that it would be £30 for non-members or £25 for members :).

If this is what you guys want to go for let me know the best Saturday for you in January or 8th December if you prefer . Alternatively, I can contact some other venues and try and get this sorted a little sooner?

 - more important than knowing the power u run isn't it

what bout some nice hub figures at mgt?

I agree, but I think it's got to be the members decision :).

So far it's 2-0 to MGT ;).

I would be interested if they are checking the fueling. The main reason i would want mine on the rollers is to see how the fueling is. Would rather not know what power its running than risk blowing an engine.

adrianstokes

MGT Racing are happy for us to arrange a RR day there if that is what the majority want; they have a hub dyno, so no risk of tyres slipping on the rollers, and would be keeping a close eye on fuelling and knock during the runs .

Let me know what you want to do.

Unfortunately it's going to have to be a Saturday I'm afraid, I've just posted a thread with details for all those who are still interested in this.

Admitted for you Northampton guys MGT Racing is further away for you but I have first hand experience of their facilities and have no doubt that your car is in the safest possible hands .
