Does anyone have any experience of fitting these to an S14a around the reading area? I have some on their way and would like to get them fitted ASAP so I can get my alignment tweaked...
I'm near J12, happy to drive somewhere if it helps. I can probably do it myself on my driveway, but I'm terribly nervous under the car (probably due to having shite axle stands and jack!) so could do with someone to supervise :wack:
I bought a set ages ago but sold them on after chickening out with installing them... NOT this time! :ghey:

Richy, me and Jay20 fitted the the 'C' type collars to his car. Was actually a piece of p to do. Jus needed a bit of elbow grease to loosen the subframe bolts.
We have a decent 3 ton jack and axle stands, so I'm sure we could help you out.
The only thing i would do is soak the bolts (including the ones that fix the reinforcing plate for the forward subframe fitting, with penetration oil, several days in advance).

 you're a top man Mick, I'd apprieciate a hand (and a decent jack to use! :D )
They should be arriving today or tomorrow I guess, I chase up Mr DB now and try and sort a day we're all about.
 :notworthy

can you do one side at a time or do both sides of the car need to be up in the air at the same time??
I have these to fit also, just not had time

I think you need both in the air mate as the whole subframe needs to drop a bit

yep we took both rear wheels off (easier access to subframe bolt) and had it on axle stands.
Main subframe nuts took a wee bit of undoing but the bolts I worry about are the little buggers (M8 i think) that hold the reinforcing plate over the forward subframe bolts. Being little they are easily sheared due to corrosion etc.
Still we managed it without too much hassle and all going well it's only really an hours job.
