Oooh exciting, you going to lower it and give it big zorsts?
Did you trade the S13 in for it?
Please tell me you are joking?
Was it the free insurance, the trade in on the 200 or the oportunity to lose 30% of the cars value as soon as you drive off the forecourt that swung it?
:D

Nah... prolly the fact that parts are much easier to get than the 2*****.... like LED washer jets, peco back boxes etc... ;)

They used to do them with 2 years free insurance and a good finance deal... Have they started it again?
Free insurance, taxed, no Mot to worry about, and a warranty all rolled in to one payment a month, with a car that is probably the best value hot hatchon the market at the moment, sounds like a well chosen purchase after the luck D has had. :)

Now wrong with that, that;s why I bought my 200  :(
dat am de buzzinest car init.
Not really :)
But I'm incredibly tempted. I've had it confirmed that I'd get the free years insurance, and with the S13 as a trade-in, I'd get at least the grand I was after for it. So monthly payments would around £200-250.
I'm weighing up whether or not I'm kidding myself that I can feasibly clear all this debt, or if I should just throw caution to the wind and live this life in the red.. :)
Unsure. Thinking.. too.. much.. WAH!..
Well, at least you're out the quagmire now.
Here's some interesting links for you ;)

The guys at work love thiers dude.. They got 3 VTR's, 1 VTS and a 106 GTI.
Paz
I got rid of my VTR in favour of the 200, only thing I miss..........the handling.
Everything else about the car is totally pooh, crappy interior, crappy seats, crappy everything. Oh, and it's a ****roen!!!
Bought it brand new and it went back 7 times in as many months, first time back was the first day!!!
Best mate had a VTS, he wrote it off last week after losing control on a perfectly straight road. Pictures of the crash scene to come later tonight, aaaaaaaand pictures of what's left of the car tommorrow.
He had the free years insurance thing, and they're replacing the car for another brand new VTS, his finance deal re-starts because it's a new car and the insurance sorts out the existing finance. He DOES NOT LOSE HIS 3 YEARS NO CLAIMS! because the accident was on a free insurance policy! How cool, huh?
Blobsta, I said the VTS, I wouldn't be seen dead in a VTR wannabe ;)
And the VTS is insurance group 14
I don't know what I want to do, most of me is saying "Do not be stupid.. You do not need a car..!.. SAVE! SCRIMP! GET OUT OF DEBT!" and the little devil sat on my shoulder is saying "Pft, you'll NEVER be out of debt, go on.. get the car, go on.. "
I'd also have to finally get off my ass and get that manual license, but PFTTTTT..
/shrugs. :)
I can honestly say that the Saxo is the most uncomfortable car I have driven. I am only 6'2" and I was in considerable discomfort after driving one for about an hour. I think the initial "I have a new car" feeling will wear off and you will be thinking of chopping it in for another s13 or an s14. Think carefully m8.:)

Jackals sister was selling one of these i beleive...
If you want a little FWD car with good handling, don't buy a S*xo. What you want is a 205 GTi!
The 1.9 is lighter, cheaper, handles better and is almost as fast as a VTS. Plus you'll be able to get a decent one for the same money (if not less) than you sell your 200 for, and then you won't have that whopping finance thing over your head! Look how cool they are:

:D
If I sell the 200 I won't have a deposit, so it won't happen..
I don't really NEED a car, I've just got used to it, I guess.
Saxo = new, FREE INSURANCE!, quite nippy..
JackaLs sisters was a VTR, btw. :)
D if you don't need a car don't have one. They are just money pits whatever they are, new or not. Buy a mountain bike, clear some debts and then buy the car you really want instead of a bloody Citroen.
Yeah... even a crappy little old knackered run-around will cost literally thousands, once you figure in tax, garage fees, petrol, insurance... I don't drive crazy amounts, and only have an N/A 1.8 (30-40mpg), but I reckon I must spend £1500-£2000 on petrol each year alone   :(
How much do you really need a car? How much difference would an extra £3000+ each year make to your debts?

The few places you feel like, "God, I wish I had a car...", treat yourself and take a cab. You'll still save yourself a fortune and you can save up for something nice. Im thinking Skyline. Im thinking Nitrous. Im thinking 1000+ BHP. I'm... dribbling actually.
Urgh.
I got a micra because of a years free insurance deal. There was a clause that it also carried a no claims bonus. Had an incident, found out it was PROTECTED NCB as well. Pretty sweet deal.
BTW did I mention I managed to destroy a piston?? Sorry Micra, I thought cars were meant to be able to sit on their redline all day :(
