Hi guys, Tom has decided to step down as area rep, thanks for your efforts tom:thumbs: , and so we need a new area rep for the South, we are looking for someone with enthusiasm and the spare time to be able to give the rep role the commitment it needs. Area rep is one of the most important and demanding roles within the SXOC, reps have to carry out the following

1. Arrange and run local events ( one every 2-3 months, E.G rolling road days, BBQ's, Bowling, etc etc, dosen't have to car related, anything that gets the members together really )
2. Attend local meets
3. Moderate appropriate Area section of the BB

So, is there anyone out there up for the challenge?:sxoc:

Mark seems to think that the south would be a better placing than SE so i thought i would show my interest here also.:sxoc:

I havnt got the regional maps but where ever you guys want me i would be up for being the rep for my surrounding area.

Again gutted to see Toms leaving.

I think Def would be a good rep

his reading/woking meets are always well organised and never any trouble, or if there is, the culprit is swiftly delt with

is the cheque in the post Mr Def? ;)

Ah that's a real shame, sorry to hear Tom is stepping down, it was nice knowing we had a local rep in Soton :(

(it's that new boat isn't it! :D)

I'm sorry to be stepping down too as I've really enjoyed the role, establishing events and giving something back to the club :)

However, my life is getting a bit busy and I don't want to neglect the job and not be able to give 100% to it.

Good luck to whooever is chosen to run the, let's face it, the best area going aka the South :Plug: I'll be about to help my successor if they would like and will still be active in the club :sxoc:
