Hi Jez i currently have one of your stage 1 chips fitted and the car is fully at stage 1. I am looking at either jumping to stage 3 or 3a but have a few questions. Firstly is it better to get a power fc or one of your chips and what are the benefits of both. Second what injectors does stage 3 a use and can they be used at stage 2 if funds dont allow me to go straight to 3. If i were to get hold of a Z32 AFM could it be used with my existing set up (im guessing i need an adaptor hose for my apexi filter ? Lastly if i were to get one of your stage 2 or 3 chips is there any kind of buy back on my stage 1 ?
Thanks in advance.
Sorry to butt in :wack:
IMHO Jez's chips are fantastic, I've ran most of the stages to my current spec (3a plus custom map) including lots of track work and club dyno days  Power and pretty much everything has been perfect, and it has compared very positively to similar cars mapped with PFC's

yeah mine has been great on the stage 1 chip im just wondering if it allows more flexibility with a power fc and maybe it is cheaper rather then buying a new chip each time ? I would certainly take it to Jez to set up if i did go for the FC

Well, the chip managed to do everything it needed to and lots more besides on my car  As I say, I really couldnt fault it on road, track or dyno :D
Power FCs are good bits of kit - they're basically the same as the standard ECU but with the ability to do data logging, easier map adjustment, and limited knock alert functionality.
My ECU upgrades work well if you have the required set of modifications. They're better value than the Power FC but are not as flexible. If you need to upgrade from one stage to the next, it's £99.99 - so you dont need to pay the full amount.
Whatever you decide, we can supply, fit and map a Power FC, staged ECU upgrade or custom ECU upgrade :)
