SXOC trackday in December at Brands Hatch [Archive]

Hi Guys,

Last year there were a number of SXOC members that came to a trackday at Brands Hatch in December.

Would anyone be interested in returning and if so would you prefer an exclusive session (just SX's on circuit) or a group booking on an open pit lane event?

Price is likely to be around £100 - £120.

Any questions feel free to ask but just wanted to see if anyone would be interested...

On the sessioned event (only SXOC) there would be 6* 20 minute sessions. Alternatively you could do an open pit lane where there would be 6 hours of track time for you to go on and off as much as you please. However, you would be amongst other cars (unless there were 50 SXOC members interested at which point we could do an exclusive SXOC trackday!)

would it be a weekday or weekend? need to know approximate dates to say yes or no but i would definitly be up for it and i know of a few more who would at least

It would be a weekday - possibly Thursday 13th or Monday 17th.

I'd be interested in an open pit day at Brands... with maybe a few other clubs to get up numbers (i.e. MX5 club or RX7's)?

open pit would be great, think id rather go open pit with other cars, that time slots with jsut sxoc members.

Thats normally what i do...i just wander round and take shots.
You can get to the pit via the tunnel too, so you can go in and out at will.

I did a track day on the 3rd December last year.. it was perfect. No rain, no snow, nice cold air...

Yeah agreed open pit lane much better

and in terms of bringing the vectra, I have no doubt it will shame a lot of other 'more powerful' cars due to the advanced handling and braking, but please let me have a go too! I never got the chance to take it for a trackday and thats what its designed for! :thumbs:

I don't see any reason why I wouldn't be able to come along to a trackday in december :thumbs:

Hi Guys, Obviously I don't post on your forum very often as I have a Hairdressers car, but we have done a few track days together, Brands last December and Coombe this March spring to mind.

I know there is a lot of track days going round at the moment but I also have what I believe to a great track booked in Cadwell Park for the 25th November.
SX's and friends are most welcome and I'm sure Obsessed wants to get his own back for Coombe :eek:

hi nickd id love to do this but im over 230 miles away:( .are you going to do brands in december?if so i will take a couple of brave pills and try and stay in front of you this time:whip: you were the only girls car that i had to move over for i believe:clap: i put up a video of a few laps in the old tread but not were you went by me:)
