Hey im totally delighted with the results of ur stage 2 kit.

but im still getting this problem when i hit 6000+ rpm the car totally overfuels and struggles until i lift off the throttle and it clears then back on the throttle its fine.

like if i drift out of a corner and the revs fly to the redline as the wheels spin it just bogs down as it hits 6k+ rpm.

i had this symptoms before you stage2'd my ecu though.

ive not had the consult connected yet but when i checked it before the stage2 chip the injector duty went to 130% at this point....im still getting the same symptoms so i reckon this is still happening.

any idea what could be causing this?

could it be my fpr causing problem at this point?

ive got a blitz r-vit connected so i can read various sensor readings.
any idea what healthy full throttle readings would be at this point like:

air flow voltage.
fuel correction %.
o2 voltage.
injector pulse ms.

ive played around with boost and timing settings but it still does it no matter what i set it to.

because ive done most of my mods a few at a time rather than 1 by 1 i cant really tell when i got this symptom.

Do you think i might need a custom map?

i might fit a sard fpr and i that doesnt make a difference ill just have to drive a million miles to yours to get mapped.:rolleyes:

Sorry I missed this

It could be a number of things - the traditional boost leak, or bad signal from the CAS, bad earths, dodgy coil packs or bad plugs.

Tricky to say without looking at the car

ill try and borrow a set of coil packs..i wonder when i overheated the engine if the extra heat damaged the coil packs.

if i cant suss it out ill give you a shout and maybe ill drive down to yours.

Do you reckon the splitfire coil packs are worth getting anyway as a upgrade?

i can get a set for about £240 suppose this will be cheaper than new nissan ones.
