View Full Version : 345mm disk
Will the big brake kit with the 345mm disks fit under Compomotive MO 17'' wheels?
Too lazy to take the wheels off right:rolleyes: now and recon somebody may know the answer. Also if yes will I need to relocate the balance weights?
Cheers
No quick answer. IIRC though you need 400mm inside of where the caliper will sit. Where are you based. Maybe someone near you has the conversion done.
Oh well worth an ask. Thanks for the reply but I am convincing myself that 345mm is too large anyway (for my needs).

I would say they certainly would, I'm pretty sure that Paul_S13 is running 345s with 17" MOs.
They do look good though.

Have you got a pic of your moto's? If they are the same as Paul_S13's then they do fit as they are proper wheels

It's taken 7 years of 200 ownership to get them!
But as a rule Compo's, Speedline etc etc tend to be made for motor sport applications so you get the maximum size brakes as possible, a lot of the showy Jap wheels are rubbish for clearance.
Thats true. I keep thinking back to Mark Johnson's (I think) yellow S13 from D1GB last year with the gorgeous 18" 6 spoke MO's. Pure sex!
BTW which caliper are you using? R33 or S14/Z32?

IIRC it's the R33 GTS-T caliper that is needed for the 345mm kit.
