Just on my way home from Southend and got to just after Rayleigh Weir. Three horses in the middle of the road. Do the cars stop? No of course not simply persue the horses spooking them further.
Then tw@t in a Range Rover sees a gap and boots it:mad:
I pull my 200 over near the A130 turn off and run after the horses to try and get them off the road (already called the pigs at this point).
Stupid Tw@ts in cars don't give a toss and just want to get home so are still chasing the the horses and spooking them, so I am fighting a loosing battle.
They then end up on the flyover section of the A130 so I then run back to car to get my torch and proceed to start waving people off the bridge so the horses aren't spooked on the top.
Quite a few people were very good and took heed, slowed down and then got off the A127. Several completely ignored me however and I nearly got knocked down a couple of times:mad:
Police then turn up (bloody ages later):mad:(lazy gits, probably out catching speeders).
Then instead of blocking the bridge they hammer it on followed by others as by now I've given up thinking they'll do a proper job.
Fat chance of that, luckily some other people had managed to stop infront of the horses and catch them, no thanks to useless police :mad:
