I've been thinking about sills alot recently... are they painted on the inside? how are they protected against rust?

There are drain points which come through the sills on 200sx's, and surely if there's no paint on bits that water will touch, then they will just rust like buggery...

I appreciate this is probably a stupid line of thought, because surely you'd have issues with welding sills into place if they already had paint on them, but what is actually done to protect them?

The shells are dipped at the factory so they do have some paint on them, just not enough.

all new panels usally come dipped in a black primer,believe it or not altho it is a thin coat,it is salt water tested for 100 hours. if your replacing any panels use waxoil for protection!! its the bomb bay
