View Full Version : M4 westbound - jnc 24-28 closed this morning.
If it saves one person getting stuck in traffic it was worth posting up

Took Simon 1hr 45mins to get to the work the other side of Newport! :annoyed:

Very bad accident wasnt it, last I heard someone said 6 people dead. Know someone on the motorway earlier near to the accident and he was stuck for about 4 hours.

i think the rozzers are not letting on what happend
when there was a fatality last year on the margam viaduct the m4 was only closed for about 3hrs..
it was shut for 12 hrs and the outer lanes are still closed untill tuesday??

well the accident happend at about 2am yesterday morning and the truck leveled about 60 mtrs of central res

It's pretty obvious what happened - the truck completely failed to go round the actually pretty sharp bend(s).
The real question is "why?"
Did the driver fall asleep or pass out?
Was the driver doing something instead of driving?
Did the truck suffer a mechanical failure?
Did someone do something to the driver or truck?
