Living with what he has done probably is worse punishment for him.
I make a point of not even touching the stuff when driving, I know I could not live with myself if I caused an accident because of drinking. People who d&d should be locked up and the key thrown away.
That is absolutely terrible.
I know people who have been killed as a result of other people drink driving.
THere's no getting away from it - even a small amount of alcohol can impair your judgement. Yeah yeah I know that hte legal limit is 80 or whatever, but seriously... I think it should be Zero, that way you are in no doubt.
:(
That should be shown to a few people I know who do drink and drive , one who has been doing so for 40 years.

Zero would be unenforcable, you wouldnt be able to drive after a spoon full of cough mixture, a 285ml beer take's your liver about an hour to proccess the alcohol. You dont want to know how long that absynth took to get out your system the other month, being 50~70 % alcohol depending on make compared to a 4% small beer, I hope you didnt drive before lunchtime the next day.
The limit should be lowerd however, I think it is to high at the moment. It's one of my worst fears when the misses is driving, I know she's a good driver but it's these drunken idiots on the road that worry me. the sentance for drink driving is'nt tough enough either, should be a minimum 5 year ban and a big fine. People will undoutable say it's to tough to ban someone for 5 years but sodit, look what happend to that lass she had a lifetime punishment along with her family!!! I hope the guy that did that was jailed...for a long time.
