Came into work this morning to find the network down. It'd been down since 3pm yesterday apparently but nobody had thought to tell me or my partner about it (we were out meeting with clients till 8pm).

Turns out the reason the network was down was because two of my soon to be ex employees downloaded some stupid game off the net and were trying to play it cross network

Now all yesterday's work has been lost including all yesterday's emails. Honestly it's like working with untrained chimps sometimes.

This is what happens when you employ people who drive scrabbly nonsense and put them in a position of power...

They simply can't handle it:D

For future reference get a wall out the back of the building and make it look like its riddled with bullet holes then have a large wooden pole mounted in the ground in front then daub with blood. Prospective employees can then be informed of JB's method for dealing with fools:D:D:D:D

and remember: 'While the cats away the mice will download dodgy games from the internet and attempt to play them over the network' :D:D:D:D:D

Abuse of company equipment

Neglect of duty for not informing someone that the network was down

Losing important comapny document (the emails we received yesterday, one of which was an order for some £25000) Now I'll have to look like a bloody fool when I contact the customer.

But more importantly, for pissing me off :D

Bespoke software design and a bit of web design. These two weren't designers, just office staff with no brains.

I don't find it funny when and entire days work plus important mail goes missing for such a stup reason. Things go wron often enough as it is without ib being due to tw@tish behaviour.
