This sucks, Its my first JAE, I havent been camping in about 20 years and the weathers gonna be shit. Great :indiff:
Its my mates bday this weekend, maybe I should go to that and get pissed in a nice warm pub instead :annoyed:

The Met Office is expecting a prolonged period of heavy and thundery rain to affect parts of England and Wales on Friday and into Saturday. Rainfall totals of 20-30mm are expected quite widely but there is potential for 60-90mm in places. At this stage, there is still some doubt about where the highest totals will occur but southern and eastern areas of England are most at risk. The heavy rain could lead to flooding in some areas and cause disruption to outdoor events and transport networks. This warning will be updated around 11am tomorrow (Thursday 19th July)

Well, at 5:00pm today, it started tipping it down in Peterborough, leaving work at 5:35 the rain was still VERY heavy, and there was a hell of a lot of standing water on the parkways...
However, 20 miles down the road there doesn't seem to have been much rain at all, it's pretty sunny and damn warm!
I think the showground is going to be pretty damn water logged already, but hey, that just makes it easier to get the tent pegs in! :wack: Have fun boys and girls! :D

My car just had more waxing and polishing than it's ever had ;) All the water and crap is gonna run right off...
Should be a nice trip up from southampton!
Ive got a pair of De-Walt boots, Rainproof Fluro Yellow Trousers and a storm jacket coming with me :D All i need now is a tit mask and so Glowsticks :wack:
Ive got a tent that might as well have come free with a happy meal....and a guiness jester hat. B*llocks to water proof gear. Pansies lol

It's been raining in Peterborough since about 11:30 this morning, as far as I can tell it's not been raining hard, but it's looking very wet!

Well i'm on a trade stand and we had guys who were putting stuff on our stand,calling us this morning to say they are not comming :(

i am supposed to be meeting the others early tomorrow and plan on leaving for showground at quarter to six.
Just tried to get up there. . . . got about half an hour into our so called 3 hr drive. Sat in traffic waitng to get on the motrway for an hour an some. Turned around and came home.:censored: Proper fuct off now. Gonna look and try again this evening. Roads were proper sh*ty out tho. Go careful anyone who's out there.
Possible stand slot going if i fail in my mission. Deathstars having the same problems as well. We were in convoy.:(
