While i've got the engine out, i'm tarting up the exterior. One of the ideas i've been toying with is making my standard p/facelift bumper clip on/off.
Has anyone done this? Is it hard to do? What will i need?

easy!! cable ties my friend. my s13 bumper is held on with no more than 6 of them. ask anyone who drifts, cable ties are the way forward. they only break if u hit something which is a good thing as the whole bumper will quickly come off instead of smashing into a million pieces

Well i was thinking something along the lines of this

from bumper to wing, with the main part being on the wing and the hook on the bumper.
If you saw that lexus on the front cover of Banzai a month or two ago, you'll know how i mean.
However, with the bumpers being more often than not "smashed" off, would this cause problems with it bending etc?
How else could they be attached?

i saw a bumper with flush fit clips on it. to the out side they were circulat with a slot....i assume they just twist on a pin or summat.
like ikea furniture connections:nod:
edit: in fact just what jez posted:o
