What Primer

Just a quick one on painting a fibreglass bumper. At the moment the bumper has a gel coat and unprepped. I`m going to rub it down and prep it properly, but what sort of primer do I need to use on fibreglass? Normal primer, plastic primer etc??

Flat down well with plenty of soapy water and 600 grade paper,then clean over with Panel Wipe (or equivalent) and then normal grey cellulose primer/undercoat will be fine.Plastic primer isn't necessary over fibreglass.

And it depends how good the finish is, if its really bad get a Bodyshop to high build 2k primer it then flat that down. It should then look spot on!
