I've got an assessment day/interview with Oracle @ Reading soon for a job when I graduate!!

Anyone done one of these assessment days before? :confused:

Yup - they'll give you loads of tests with way too little time to finish all the questions... they also won't tell you how long is left.

Keep a close eye on your watch, and 1 min from the end fill out the rest of the (multiple choice) answers randomly...

Kerrrr-Ching! 1 job :)

Cheers. :)

I've got a question, I've had two interviews on the past where I've been asked what my main weakness is? I was stumped!! What is a 'reasonable' answer to this do you think? Is it me or is it a silly question, considering your in a situation where your supposed to be 'selling yourself' (so to speak :rolleyes: )?? :confused:

It's up to you, of course, but I probably wouldn't mention the incident with the hamster and the role of sellotape ;)

I had that - told the guy I had to think about it.
Came back with "holding problems to myself for too long. I tend to keep a problem to myself and try to deal with it if at all possible. However, I suppose that could be seen as a positive as I don't tend to go running every time there is something I can't fix after 2 mins..."

LOL.

How about;

"I have an intolerance and violent attitude to people who ask stupid questions..

.. oh yeah, and who don't give me jobs.."

If they're asking a question like that it's probably what they're expecting to hear:D

You could go down the 'When I get involved in something I like to see it through to the end and can't give up on it' type of stubourness (spelling?) thing!

Alg;)
