Need some help,
Just bought a s14a and need someone to look after it in the Cambridge area. Anyone know a good trustworthy 'go the extra mile garage' that knows about turbos.
I hear there is a guy in Harston who is good?

What do yo mean by "knows about turbos?"
If you want a generally very good garage, drive the extra few miles to Warboys and Ivan Barrett's.. Howard is an awesome bloke, really knows his 200SX's, and drifts his S13 regulalry!
I believe he hangs out on driftworks a fair bit aswell!
Yeah howard's a top guy used to be part of the cambridge possy , had a s14a and an s13.
Other option and the one i got to for work is APT in Norwich, if anyone can do something with a 200sx its gary.
I work in cambridge but live in sudbury in suffolk so its a fair trek to norwich but i really trust gary along with the rest of the board.

The guy in Harston, Jeremy is a good mechanic but sometimes his customer service skills leave something to be desired. Hes not a 200SX specialist either. Other than that, I dont know of anywhere Id recommend in cambridge for any in depth type work although Autoquick at Shelford are good for less complex stuff.
As others have said, H at Warboys or Gary at APT are both top lads and know the cars well.

Thanks for your comments.
As I have just bought this car a mate has suggested geting it rolling roaded to make sure its running correct before I do anything else which makes sence (cars heading to 100k). So I may be heading to Wilshers in Wilpole RR to ensure their are no demons lurking.
Reading the reviews this guy knows alot but about MG's, Capris and westfields. Need to make a call to them to see if they take a 200sx on.
Never thought of autoquick in shelford - they are just down the road from where I work, may be good for regular sevicing.
I have no worrys about travelling for specialist work so I will check out your other suggestions.
Thanks
Phil
Id strongly advise making the trip to APT if you want a go on the rollers - Gary is literally a guru on these cars and will be able to identify any potential problems immediately, where people less experienced may miss them.

APT is not to far away, so worth the trip.
Thanks for your help
Phil
APT all day long
People travel from all over the country including the North West to go there so they come highly recommended
I drove to APT in the snow for a clutch fitting, wouldn't go anywhere else now.
I'd highly recommend BARR-TECH Specilist Cars on Cowley Rd (Opp science park)
edit: for servicing/ repairs/ fitment. If you tell um they'll fit it but you have to tell um if its not standard.
