Chris, can u pay entry on the gates aswell?
Think we might pop up for this
Chris@MSW
01-07-2007, 10:13
Hi.
Entry on the gates is £10 per person. Anyone from a car club gets the added bonus of being able to book in advance for a 50% discount. Its up to you :) If you pay via paypal the tickets will be with you by Friday morning.
This round is one thats definitely not to be missed. The track is mental, spectators will be seeing (and probably tasting) LOTS of smoke and how often do you get the opportunity to go behind the wheel of a drift car for £20??
It would be great to see a group of sx's on display there... I've been told by other sources that you'd be there as a group but so far ive heard nothing to confirm it apart from your posts :(
Chris.
ok, well we'll put ours on there, so thats one sx u'll see
I'll paypal over now Edit, does that include postage of the tickets?
Is St Arvans Gate the one at the bottom of the hill?
Chris@MSW
01-07-2007, 10:31
Thanks - Your £5 entry fee includes postage :). Its on a per person basis though.
As you come down the hill from the Mitsubishi Garage you'll find a roundabout. That is the main entrance to the racecourse. Go left on the roundabout for around half a mile (if that) and St Arvans Gate is on your right hand side.
There will be signposts in place and you'll probably find a bit of a queue :)
Chris.
ok chris, cheers for that, i'll be paying for two tickets, sending now

Met some of the drivers too, really nice guys...except for one perticular w**ker!!

Went along to this and had a good day, shame there were such long gaps without any action, but it gave me a chance to have a good nose around the cars parked up in the race course.
Some excellent driving on show with huge amounts of tyresmoke
I suspect the tarted up S14a that Adey parked up next to was my brothers which currently has the odd sticker or two on it :D
Yeah Tarted up
took a pic of the two next to each other ...before + after .....
Long Gaps ???
Well ...we got there 4:30 and gaps were small .....
I'm guessing you mean the usual ? Qualifying and sorting messing about :annoyed: which we missed ?
Still .... We thought it was worth going just a shame we didn't bump into any SXOC members .....Next time .......

Quite a few people have complained about him allready. I'm going to have a word with Nick and Matt about him soon enough. I was shouting at him to shut up from down in the pits! Its not the first time he's mouthed off like that either, or so I've been told. It doesn't do the sport any good.

All im saying is its put me off taken our son, which is a pity as he'd love watching it :D
the way for these events to get more spectators is by being family friendly, somwthing everyoe can watch. And while the day in general would have been, its sad to see it all spoiled because of one aragant arse :( Like taff said, it does the sport no good
