Ouch, reminds me of when I was navigating a 12 car for my mate, we were hammering Rhidnose pass in the lakes when there was a bang, had a good look about at the next checkpoint but couldn't see anything, anyway, a few weeks later, we took the car (manta) out for a spin to clean out the engine and see if there were any problems and the smell can only be described as bacon, there turned out to be a bat plastered all over the front of the radiator, we just let it cook then peeled it off
