View Full Version : Santa Pod Convoy (Sunday 26th)

Anyone from round cov way going to santa pod on the 26th?
A load of scooby owners from the midlands are going over and are gonna meet up on the A5 outside Nuneaton and then go over to the 'pod in a convoy. Just wondered if anyone was up for meeting up with them and then all going over in one big gang of overly noisy jap cars :)
Ive talked to the guy who is organising the scooby boys meeting place and he says he has no worrys with anyone else who wants to join up with them.

well the scoobys guys are gonna go to northampton to meet up with a few more scoobys so i guess you could meet us there ,altho im not sure exactly where their gonna meet them , but i could find out if your interested ? it would be nice not to be the only 200sx in amoungst the impreza's :)
i know you're near to santa pod anyway in Kettering so i suppose its a bit of a longway round to getting there.
the route the scooby guys are taking seems to be:-

"Directions to the Pod from the Chinese on the A5 Nuneaton

A5 East
M69 South
M6 East
M1 south
A45 East through Northampton to meet up with the Northants crew"

ive asked about where in northampton they are all hooking up, just awaiting an answer at the minute.

we are meeting the northampton scooby lads at the Turnpike (Beefeater pub) on the A45 near J16, @ 10.30.

there should be quite a few different types of car other than scoobys there , i wont be able to miss the sound of ya Nur Spec in amoungst all them scoobys :)

Just got back from the 'Pod :)
Thats was a good day out, nice to see a few skylines as always :D
i hardly even got lost (3 times) on the way over there , i blame the impreza lads :rolleyes: ;)
Phil, you 200 has gotta be the best looking one ive ever seen :eek: :D did you run it in the end ?

Cheers m8 :) Nah I did'nt get to run :( but ahh well, it looked feckin slippy out there anyway. Redline want to feature my car tho..... which is a nice compliment :)

Dave me and MartBluesx noticed ur car, and I did recognise it as ur's, not nice bump :( shame we did'nt get to chat. ahh well next time m8 :)

We do indeed! It was my firest official outing yesterday. Was a good day, shame about the lack of grip on the strip. I saw someone in an S13 get beaten by a Mk3 Fiesta RS :(

Did anyone see the blue H.P.E starlet? That was feckin' mad. :)

the orange one was a bit .. well dodgy looking. it only had this little tiny single exhaust. oh well each to their own i suppose.
