View Full Version : MK SXOC meet, Sunday 24th June, Wolverton Mill, Grim has man nappies...
Had a really good time at the last meet, moving away to Northampton/Daventry in 7 weeks so quite keen to get together again.
Any ideas on the next MK meet for the SXOC (Grim ??) or the next MK Jap meet (Quail)??

northampton is hardly "away" is it :wack: only 20 minutes from MK
normally last sunday of the month. we havn't had a Bedford meet for a while either, should probably do something soon
Yeah there'll be one last Sunday this month... Grim and I made the executive decision we couldn't be arsed to put up a thread last month (I was busy with the car) so it didn't happen :wack: Weather was shite anyway.

or shall we try the one at caldecotte ?
Caldecotte could be nice, the other place to be fair was quite funky and it had a great beer garden
Either way, it'll be good to get together.
I'm moving to Daventry which AFAIK is gonna be a 30 minute drive down here, I didn't realise it wasn't that far to MK, I'm a Nottingham boy remember :wack:
Right ladies, are we gonna stick with the last one or try another?

same pub as last time
car park was good for photos
and danny liked the swings and slides:nod:
ohh and can we move back to the SE section, as the Anal Gear rep seems to have lost interest in us?
I'm sorted either way, last place was nice definitely. Lol at swings and slides :wack:
Cool, I really would love to come to this, providing I can get a couple of rather needed bits for my car I will be game.

Might have a problem with this date as could be hitting Notts that night. Not entirely sure what the plan is yet, suppose I can always do Notts another time. We'll see :D

interesting fact, it used to be the boarding house for th elocal girls school, so sniffing the seats wasn't such a bad idea Dan:rolleyes:

never had an engine run long enough to actually need brakes though, have you? and the tyres are only there so it's high enough for a jack

my bit worked ;)
I believe the problems were ELECTRICAL, and you're an ELECTRONICS ENGINEER
I believe the problems were ELECTRICAL, and you're an ELECTRONICS ENGINEER
yes, on first start up, their was no fuel pump. It was an electrical problem, as numb nuts had left the ecu in the footwell:annoyed:
As i understand it, it's now a clutch problem, which is hydrollox, not elastictrical:D
Change of plan, hopefully I should be able to make this now providing my car makes it that far and don,t get done over again between now and the meet, lol
