front splitter

my front splitter has slowly over the years become scratched from curbs and stones etc...

is there a way of somehow reconditioning it and maybe painting it black/matt black?

anyone tried somthing like this?

just get some different grades of emery cloth or wet and dry and rub it down then primer and respray in either matt black black or colour code it or get a srb splitter

When i bought my car someone had tried to colour code the splitter and it was completely wrong, i just rubbed it down prime with plastic primer (slightly harder to crack) then spray, i used matt black which came ou well, i was going to try and find a metal flake blue and re do it though. But its very easy, the hardest part is trying to get the bolts undone. I had to use normal 6mm nut and bolts to refit it.
