Hi Steve,

Try Brisco in Penllergaer for a trailer, otherwise use/borrow a dolly or get a peice of scaffold and attach a locking hook to each end with a chucky bolt or weld it, you can buy these from motor factors but they aren't very good tbh.

Make your own one with scaf approx 6ft long, is the best option.

All the best Jase

already got 2 heavy duty D shackles
will get some scaffold tube from work tomorrow
and get the mig out
cheaper than £45 to hire trailer
and no body got one for weekend

steveMaybe an idea to weld a length of chain up the side of the scaff pole then through the shackle body and back down the pole for a little extra guarantee on your initial weld ;)

You can buy proper solid towing bars in Machine Mart for about £12 but I wouldn't want to go towing it any distance if you've got no brakes!!

Cheers Fella, not one of those things you need very often, but damn handy when you do:nod:
