I'm after the 4 bolts that hold the gearbox mount bracket to the floor and the 2 bolts that hold the propshaft centre bearing case to the floor as well.

Don't matter what S-chassis car they're from as they're very likely to fit my car.

Also, Jeffers, are you able to do some more laser cutting for me? The prop shaft in my car is about 8-10mm too short, and as such a spacer would be ideal.

Thanks

Martin

The bolts should be easy to sort and no probs on the laser cutting. If you email the drawing file as before I'll speak to them and ask what the damage is :)

OK. I'll see what I can draft up.

For the bolts, if we can sort them out first it will make aligning the engine/box in my Datsun easier, so then I can be certain on the thickness of the spacer

Oh... You don't happen to have an S14 clutch master cylinder as well do you?

Might be needing one for the Datty

Yes, have a master cylinder from a 14a, think they are £25. Say £30 for all inc P&P and the bolts aswell ?

Cheers

Its ok I solved the clutch master cylinder issue now. Used an MR2 one.

I bolted the gearbox up, cheers mate. However, oddly on my car the same threaded bolts are too small for the propshaft centre bearing.

I measured up the ones you sent me, and they're M11x1.25, but it would appear that I need M12x1.25

Don't know why Datsun would use larger bolts on the prop carrier. Makes no sense

If you have any M12x1.25 bolts let me know. If not, let me know about the bolts I have rec'd already.

Thanks

OK, I have a box full of standard metric bolts I use and several boxes of Nissan stuff. M11 is very strange ! they came straight off the black 14a breaker. The prop bearing carrier ones were slightly different style to normal I thought, they usually have the enlarged head rather than captive washer and split washer. Will have a look through the Nissan bolts box :)

Yeah I thought it was a tad strange too, but thats how they measured up.

Any 2 M12x1.25 bolts will do. They just need to be about an inch long
