Yea, I'm bringing my birdo. She loved Japfest, and said that the drift sessions were the best to watch and to meet some of the club.

We went for a walk around club stands. :eek: Now she wants to sell her really :cool: mint kitted MX5:cry: to get an RX7:smitten: .

You don't need to do anything really,if you want to show your car then get your name down in members events section,you will be on the reserves for now,but i'm sure at least 10 people will pull out by then!
If not,just show up there (but you won't be able to show your car as such) or join a convoy which will be arranged soon :nod: :thumbs:

It all depends on how far away the stand is to my tent but in the afternoon i would rather pull it from the stand and park it near the tent :nod:

Last year i was a bit new to the club and didnt know many people but still had an awsome time, now iv met loads of sxoc'ers should be able to mingle in more and have a right laugh:D

Depends if people read the meet times properly i guess (looks at hanney) :wack::no: It's more to do with the shifts people are working previously :nod: I finish on the thursday afternoon and go early (7 am) on friday morning to reserve some space for us :thumbs: and I plan to leave midday on monday :nod: Others leave on saturday to spend 1 night and leave sunday morning :nod: Each to their own :nod: :thumbs:

So, who's got the most to do this year to get there cars ready?

Probably me. I need to finish what I started last year - oil cooler, mapping, fitting gauges, sort out minor bodywork blemishes, uprate the brakes. obtain and install new front seats and thoroughly clean the car. Then tax, MoT and insurance.

All depending on what happens on the 20th. June. Most likely redundancy. So should have the money to get the car sorted and have enough left over to live for 6-9 months whilst finding another job or setting up on my own.

If I do not get made redundant, unlikely that I will be able to make it unless I can somehow find the money to tax, insure and mot the car.
