JAE 2007 - Stand list

It's finally here!

I have booked a club stand for the SXOC of 130 cars this year, hopefully we will be able to fill it (it's never been a problem before!)

For those who haven't been before, JAE is a weekend camping at the East of England showground July 20th - 22nd.

The cost of camping is £10 per tent (it doesn't say whether that's for one night or the whole weekend though - I'll find out:nod: :thumbs: )

It's one of, if not THE best social event of the SXOC calendar and I can't recommend it enough.

The club is going to be organising some entertainment for the Saturday and Sunday daytime, there will be prizes for various 200s on the stand too so make sure you polish them up:nod: :thumbs: lots of food, Yard of Ale comp tent challenge and a whole lot more :D (oh and few beers here and there ;) )

For now I'll use this as the thread for allocating spaces on the stand so please don't post any comments I'll pop up another thread for JAE discussion very shortly :thumbs: (any chat will be deleted :p )

Please ONLY post if you are interested in having a space (200SXs or Silvias only!!!!) on the SXOC stand at JAE, pleae do not post if you are not interested in a space DO NOT COPY AND PASTE

Sorry mate, stand is now full, I've put you on the reserve list, I wouldn't worry to much , if its anything like last year we will get about a 15% drop out rate leading up to the event.

not sure how true this is, I remember Algie had a right arseache trying to get in last year in the 206 as it was nonjap :nod: in the end they told him he could come in to unpack his tent but then take the car back out, which of course he didnt do :wack: Not sure if thats the general line they take or was just a jobsworth twat on the gate :confused:

Just to clarify a couple of things,

This list is for the stand only which the club pays for, Camping you sort yourselves at the gate on the day when you arrive, even if you dont get your car on the stand you can still come and camp/enjoy/get hungover:thumbs:

Can any mods confirm the prices for us please? I 'sold' it to my mates as a free camping holiday last year, but if it's costing us £15 each to get in (plus booze, camping, horrid food and petrol) then it's not such an attractive weekend to my tight friends :wack:

Food is not great and VERY expensive there, so either get a good cool box/car fridge, or get some stuff from the local Tesco.

I have asked JAE a couple of times to confirm what the prices are for camping but after JTS today I want to make sure what I've been told is correct as we were fed some less than reliable info about today which has zapped me off a bit to say the least :annoyed:

How much is it to get in for the week-end without the camping. We stay at the travel lodge (Kids) and cost us something like £15 each last year even though we told the bloke on the gates we were not camping

I have asked JAE a couple of times to confirm what the prices are for camping but after JTS today I want to make sure what I've been told is correct as we were fed some less than reliable info about today which has zapped me off a bit to say the least :annoyed:


I noticed an advert for JAE in Banzai and it definately states £15 entry for the whole weekend plus £10 per tent camping.

I guess it is still a little open to interpretation but i would guess if the entry ticket is for the whole weekend then so is the camping.............Hopefully.:nod:

I'm hoping that's the case mate but there was some confusion at JAE as to whether that was for club attendees or general public (where there is further camping outside the event apparently)

You can still come and camp and join in with the events and stuff though, this list is just for people to put their cars on the stand itself:)

I was hoping to get my car on the stand, but you never know, someone may drop out. If not I will have to stick it on another stand and just drive past occasionally and dream about being on the stand. I will be there any way. Its a great show and I have always enjoyed wondering around the SXOC stand. People are always friendly and willing to offer advise. Having spent the past 2 years restoring and modifying it would be a shame not to show it off.
