I've got a sparco evo l bucket on a Driftworks super low sidemount subframe. Problem is i still haven't got much headroom clearance (i'm 6ft 3). Does any one know of any side mount rails that would be lower than this? As it stands i could never get out on the track with it cause i couldn't fit in with a lid on:mad: Cheers:)

I think you might have to use some fixed side mounts and bolt the seat directly to the floor; the only problem is the crossmember that runs accross the floor pan next to the front of the seat; if you are 6.3 you might be able to move the seat back behind it and still reach the pedals ok.
I made my own subframes and I made them as low as possible, I also have some of the DW ones and I can say that the DW ones are as low as you can get with that style of subframe.
The bride mounts might sit lower but they are bottom mount rather than side mounts, and you'll still have the issue of the front lip of the seat hitting the crossmember.

To be fair we can call this one closed thanks to chris:thumbs: Feck must have been pi**ed when i set the rails up. But to be fair really had to force the damn bucket in to get the ride height. Plus now i really have to force the petrol cap lever past the drift works rails lever to open. But what the fcuk now my head aint rubbing the roof. So thanks again Chris:clap:
