Horrible aren't they?

I had them on mine, and some Autoglym Super Resin Polish + Elbow Grease shifted them.

Hiya :)

Water spots have etched the paint... you will need an abrasive polish to remove them and then you will need to protect the paintwork...

What's happened is that the wax protection has broken down over time leaving the basecoat exposed to the enviroment... rain water has the etched the paint...

Its a big problem on single stage paint... cars with clearcoats obviously dont suffer...

Try using something will a bit more abrasive in it... did AG SRP help at all?

i got quite sore fingers doing about a 2" square area, took a small amount away but the bonnet is covered in em! the car was sitting for 2 years before i got it so its probably been damaged then as all but the bonnet was covered... if AG SRP is the best suggestion maybe ill have another bash unless theres a better method of application/removal?

Try warming it up with a heatgun. CAREFULLY. ;)

Ive got this on mine, i thought it came from the sun after the rain, bleaching the bonnet through the water?

Anyway, however they get there. i mopped it, then polished the feck out of it, and it looked fine.

now there back a few months later, :annoyed: i thought stuff it, they can stay there

There is a bit more to it than giving it a polish
