Need help for friends Daihatsu Charade

Hey fellas,

my friend thinks about getting a '89 Daihatsu Charade GTti (1.0l 12V).
Does anyone know of some good site and information as I couldn't find usefull information about it. (especialy looking for an uprated intercooler kit and buyers guide)

Great little car the Gtti despite being a scrabblewagon, way better than a 5 GT turbo, 3 cylinder engine sounds like a little V6.

Daihatsu UK used to run a works rally car back in the early 90's, did quite well on the RAC.

I'd suggest you don't buy anything from them. A mate bought some wheels & suspension from them, he foned every week to ask when they'd be in - "Next week" was the reply.
2 months later he got a phone call telling him that they'd forgot to place the order! :mad: :(
They did seem a nice bunch of lads though (for people you'd find in Whitehaven!) and one of them has a quite tasty Gtti.

I work @ a garage & we are daihatsu dealers, camskill are a good bunch of lads, if you ring these ask for mike. if not let me know what you want & i'll get it.
charade gtti is a great car, watch out for rust on rear w/arches.;) ;)
