I want to create a Poll, but I havent got the option available?

I presume this option is only available to members???

This thread was triggered by the thread made by Matt_J and the horrible event that occured on News Years.

Ok, so what is, in your own opinion the best way to deal with violence received?

Eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth (which I believe in some circumstances)

Or believe that someday the person will receive the same treatment.

Or Forgive them:confused:

I believe that he who lives by the sword dies by the sword so yes, an eye for an eye providing there is no doubt about the culprit.

i feel that violence only begets violence. THerefore defend yourself at the time with the minimum force neccessary and don't follow it up.
just my feelings...

I think they should have intensive therapy on a crabean island all expenses paid by the tax payer! NOT!!!!!!!!!

I propose you should be allowed vengance with a metal pole with razor blades and nail's welded to it, then ram it up his arse.

I'll add my 2 pence.

Basically I think that if the violence was totally un-called for (like being jumped??) then I say do whatever makes u feel better... (u know what I am thinking:D )

But to be honest I think the best way to solve something is to find out all the facts first, and if you still feel that they deserve a good smacking then I say go for it.

Violence doesnt solve anything.. (who said that by the way??? anyone??)

In some cases it can solve alot, ie pikkies moving on to an estate nr you and causing trouble.

If this was too happen then I will be happy to join you in beating the fcuk out of the them....

Thats one thing I cant stand.. I hate ****ing pikkies..

Nah, soz m8 but thats somewhat rose tinted.
If someones starts trouble then I'll do my best to make sure they don't wake up for a while, I'm into Thai boxing so can back that up with some actual knowledge of how to fight.

I never have and never will START trouble though, its only the 5 star ******s that do that.
You can never be sure how handy the other fella's going to be. For instance; One of the lads at the gym, 5'6" and 55kg, got his toes tread on and pushed about a bit on the dancefloor of some club by some 6 foot plus bloke. He tells him to back off and big bloke replies with a few choice words including a statement about him being much bigger and 'what you going to do about it'. Our lad knocks him out with one punch then kicks him in the head as he's on the way down. He's a british featherweight Thai Boxing champion BTW.

Be careful who you square up to cos it can go very badly wrong sometimes.

Totally agree...

I was in a nightclub and I remember when these 3 people started on these geeza and this poor fella got a hammering, im talking about cuts on his head and everything. couldnt do much as was in a nightclub..

However later on that nite outside a kebab house the same fellas started on another 2 blokes (they were just sitting down eating a kebab and minding their own business) and I saw these blokes just beat the living **** out of them.. (they looked like mr muscle.)

It was over in under 10 seconds. then the 2 blokes calmly walked off, leaving the 3 *****s on the floor moaning.. Of course every1 just laughed at them.

But most of the time if u look for trouble, u will find trouble, if u mind your business then you are 99% chance of being fine..

I totally agree with this, I cannot stand men who HIT women.. even in the street, if I see that they smacking them about. I will say something and will intervene... I know its nothing to do with me.. but I have seen what domestic violence does.. and it aint nice.....
I have no common respect for any man who hits a woman. to be honest I think they are cowards.

Hitting a woman..GRRRRR

Ok going to stop before I loose it.. need pint me thinks:D

I totally believe in PAYBACK.

Depends how bad it is. If its just a punch up whilst out on the piss, then bollox to it.

If someone gets pretty fcuked up, give it a short while, and make a return visit, and do 'em in

way i see it is this:

If someone was to kick fcuk outta you for no reason you wouldnt be happy about it would you?

Sooo, if you dont ever kick crap outta someone then (hopefully) if everyone follows that same rule - it wont happen to you (not likely but a nice theory)

Same thing applies to theft and the like

I wish that was the way the world worked but due to several ppl being complete T**SERS it doesnt :(

I'm a big believer that if someone has a go at you, you pay them back HARD so that they never get the chance or want the chance of doing it again. How you pay them back depends on the circumstances. Give the buggers hell

I must admit I enjoy violence, however I really hate the thaught of hurting someone, bit of a catch 22 there I think, I tend to keep myself to myself but not try too hard to stay out of trouble if that makes sense, I've never completly lost my rag though, I think the only time I put someone in hospital was when he was hitting me with a bat.

If its serious violence received, and you did not do anything to deserve it, then I don't give a f**k what happens to the other guy. If he has to have a metal plate holding his skull together. So be it. He deserves it.

Here here. Couldn't agree more. Dont be an arsehole, and if someone is to you, then F*ck them up badly!

where i live there are alot of PRATS believe you me, the big I AMS and all that, but alot of them are all ACT and no much action. A couple of years back one geezer was eyeing me up i was with 2 people i know (can u see where this is going:( ) anyway this geezer was with 4 other lads and was really giving it ie stop and just staring at me and then he decides to come over the road, so i thought F**K this and we square up, his was taller than me and was tip-toeing to make himself look bigger so i push him about 4 oot away from me, i think he was shocked and then followed up with a kick, which i grabbed, pick him up by his leg and through him in the road and was about to kick the C**T in the F*ckin head, when his mate jumped in they didnt hit me or anything (the geezer i was fighting was there TOUGHT GUY:D ) but distraced me, the geezer jumped off the floor and punched me in the side of the face and ran off:eek: IT WAS HIS HARDEST PUNCH and it didnt even faze me.....

the 2 people i was with didnt get involed ( ) and it wasn't far from a so called friend house who saw every thing and didnt help me out....

I try to avoid fight these day but i always seem to get into arguement over stupid things (maybe coz i am bit hard-head and dont back down)

I told this geezer mate that if he want to finsh the fight to meet me, he never did and have seen him a couple of time since and he just put him head down, but i hear he still think his the man ESP. know his got a escort with a EVO spoiler

live and fight another day
