Is that your letter in Banzai about your wifes micra?
they've also got an article about the drift day a load of us went to last year, The one for BBC1. theres quite a few 200 pics in there.
Not sure - I haven't seen the mag. Which issue is it in? What does it say?
I have been in touch with Banzai about a feature they did on a Australian turbo'd Micra a couple of months ago as I wanted to compare it with ours. They said they are interested in running a feature on our Micra when I finally manage to get hold of a twin plate clutch that can cope.

Ahhh so it is you then, it's issue 20 feb/march. came through the post this morning. they've put up the power graph for the micra you asked about, 83.3bhp. They havent put much tech info in though like you asked for.
It sounds like my original email then.
I was quite surprised when I saw that power graph.
That 83bhp is at the wheels - standard 1.3l Micras are 75bhp at the flywheel but that figure still seems ridiculously low to me for a turbo'd car.
Ours was putting out 82bhp at the wheels with an induction kit, 4-2-1 manifold and a decatted exhaust BEFORE RC did the turbo conversion. NA rally Micras run 120-150bhp with high comp pistons and wild cams and uprated ECUs.
In Japan, some aftermarket turbo kits without intercoolers etc produce 140bhp at the flywheel at 0.5bar boost. I have a HyperRev magazine which details quite a few. There is one car in there which is similar spec to my wifes. It produces 200PS at 1bar boost. Ours peaks at nearly 1.2bar boost :D .
Need to get a copy of the mag on the way home now so I can read about your drift day:)
was that micra done up the road from me at RC developments? a red one?
Yep - that's the one :). Did you see it when the work was being done?
There is a link to it from the front page on www.rcdevelopments.com - look for Mad 200bhp Micra :D
