suggestions please :-

best way to open the bottles when you
haven't got a bottle opener, a handy shelf,
or any suitable tools with you :confused: :confused:

a friend needs to know lol :D :D :D

end of a fence or wall mate - place it on the edge and give it a gentle couple of taps :)

so thats a yes to being on the sauce then :D

Go out into the street and knock a kid off his bike GTA style then use his pedal to open your bottle. Shimano DX are the best sort.

Any thing with a hard right angled adge. Umnless you are sat in the middle of a hiuge field you should be ale to find something... eventualy.

I remeber people in London complainging about people using the edges of the marble tables to open bottles :rolleyes: and chipping them...

Pliers? Use the cutter to grip the cap and twist it off.

Sometimes you can open then by using your hand.

Directions:

Place bottle in left hand with top facing up.
extend right hand and place your palm on the top of the lid.
clench your fist to tighten your fingers and hand to the lid.
Move your fist anti-clockwise until u hear:



sissssssss













or until you feel pain...







If you hear sissssss, you successfully completed the task.

If you feel Pain... ERROR!!!!!!
Please switch off and try again...

If you put your left hand round the neck of the bottle so that your fingers are about 1-2 cm below the cap, you should be able to use a plastice lighter to open get the cap off. Put the middle of the lighter on you finger so that the end is just under the edge of the cap, then push the other end down really quick and that should take the cap off. Sorry if that rollocks but it's quite hard to explain.

I use a cigarette lighter. use your thumb as a pivot and it pops off easily.

Hmmm, handy tips all of them! Wish I'd known the cigarette lighter technique :( - woulda saved me a lot of pain lol. Ended up using the metal tag on my keyring to lever the bottle tops off which wasn't terribly successful - ended up gouging a chunk out of my index finger when the metal thing slipped :rolleyes: :(
